This project explores the passage of time through the ideas of weight, wear and the sense of stagnation that can arise from trying to keep pace with an increasingly fast-moving way of life.

The work poses a question to the viewer: what if we could take hold of our own time and pause it wherever we wished, for as long as we chose?

The sculpture consists of twelve movable elements that gradually lock into one another as a result of their own wear. It invites viewers to slow down, interact with the work, rearrange its components, and leave them in whatever configuration they choose.
