El concepte “infoxicació” fa referència a la intoxicació que patim avui en dia com a resultat de la quantitat desmesurada d’informació que ens arriba cada segon. En conseqüència, s’acaba produint una desinformació del que se’ns mostra que ens impedeix percebre, i molt menys retenir, tots aquells estímuls que ens arriben: formes, lletres, colors, imatges, notícies, etc.

D’aquesta manera, l’obra acaba sent la representació del diari sense que aquest hi sigui present, fent referència a la quantitat d’informació que tenim a l’abast, però que no som capaços de processar, ni de veure. A partir d’un procés de treball que cerca l’ordre i la tranquil·litat enmig d’uns ritmes accelerats, es representen 7 portades del diari fetes amb acer, respectant les mides del diari La Vanguardia de l’1 al 7 d’octubre de 2020.

No obstant, a cada planxa s’hi ha extret l’espai que ocupa el text i la imatge, produint-se així una desinformació absoluta del contingut de cadascun dels dies.

The concept «infoxication» refers to the intoxication that we suffer today as a result of an excessive amount of information that reaches us every second. Consequently, it generates disinformation that is shown to us which prevents us from perceiving and even more retaining all those stimuli that reaches us, such as, shapes, letters, colours, images, news, etc.

In this way, ´Octubre,´ ends up being the representation of the newspaper without it being present, referring to the amount of information that we have within reach but that we are not capable of processing or seeing. From a work process that seeks order and tranquility in the midst of accelerated rhythms, 7 newspaper covers made of steel are represented, respecting the sizes of, ´La Vanguardia,´ newspaper from October 1st to 7th 2020.

However, in each steel plate, the space occupied by the text and the image has been extracted, thus producing absolute disinformation of the content of each one of the days
